Moving into eco-smart townhouses

The 18 eco-smart terraced houses that we delivered to the Falkträsket construction project outside Skellefteå are now ready for occupation. Homebuyers have had the chance to put their own stamp on the houses by making a range of options, including kitchens, tiles, floors, wall colours and the layout of the rooms upstairs. In addition, all the houses are equipped with solar panels and electric car charging stations.

The project began with the acquisition of the properties Jenkan 1 and Lambadan 1 at Falkträsket by Contractor in December 2020. In the spring of 2021, construction began on the 18 prefabricated terraced houses that we delivered from our factory in Jörn. Each house has four rooms with a total living area of 105 m².

- "It's been an unusually varied construction project because all the houses look different inside," says Johan Marklund, Contractor's site manager.

He believes that the personalised and eco-smart terraced houses from Jörnträhus at Falkträsket can have many followers.

- The end result will be great and I think the customers will be satisfied. Being able to both make the house unique to their own taste and offer environmentally smart solutions feels right in time.
