Jörnträhus Pro is a concept with prefabricated building components for everything from apartment blocks and holiday villages, to schools and other service buildings. In addition to Jörnträhus Pro being sold to external construction companies and contractors, it is also used in several of Contractor's own projects as Jörnträhus is part of the Contractor Group. Two current projects where they are used are in the new offices at the psychiatry at Skellefteå hospital and a newly produced LSS home with six apartments in Ersmark outside Umeå.
Magnus Prejner, site manager for the project in Ersmark, explains:
- "I think the concept of ordering ready-made wall blocks and roof trusses works really well. Instead of building our own blocks, they are now delivered with ready-made cover panels, which we only need to complete at the joints and paint the right colour.
The blocks are easy to lift into place, which is positive because we get a tight house faster.
What are the main benefits as you see it?

I would say that the quality itself is equivalent, but it is of course even easier for individual details to look good when they are made in the factory.
