31 terraced houses will be delivered to two different construction projects in Skellefteå

Jörnträhus, together with Contractor, has been commissioned to build 31 terraced houses in Skellefteå in the Getberget and Anderstorp areas.

- It's great that we have been entrusted with building and delivering the terraced houses and also important that we can contribute to reducing the housing shortage in Skellefteå, says Peter Gyllenberg, CEO of Jörnträhus.

At Getberget, Riksbyggen and a local financier are Jörnträhus and Contractor's clients. The project involves Contractor Bygg, Contractor Mark and Jörnträhus. 20 terraced houses will be built, construction will start in the first week of September and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The terraced houses, which are produced in Jörnträhus' house factory in Jörn, will be approximately 100 square metres in size.

- Riksbyggen's strategy is completely in line with Contractors and Jörnträhus, they want to hire local contractors with their own staff who build sustainably. That was an important reason why we got the deal, says Kurt Nyström, CEO of Contractor Bygg in Skellefteå.

At Anderstorpsgården, the municipal housing company Skebo will build eleven terraced houses, the contractor is NCC, which in turn has commissioned Contractor to build the houses. Contractor Bygg and Jörnträhus are carrying out the project, which is planned to be completed around autumn 2026, with construction starting in summer 2025.

- The terraced houses will be virtually identical to those on Getberget, which will ensure quality but also create a more sustainable construction process," says Peter Gyllenberg.
