2021 has really been a year of high pressure for Jörnträhus. Holiday home sales are going like the train and the PRO projects continue to roll in. Most recently, a large apartment building project was completed in Hemavan. In addition, Jörnträhus concept house Loftgången will be used for Contractors project in Kåge, Birkarlen with about 200 apartments. Jörnträhus is therefore now completing a completely new production line in the factory in Jörn, where investments have also been made in a traverse for the same.
- By restructuring one of our house factories and demolishing a couple of walls, we have been able to build a production line that will increase our capacity for holiday homes by just over 40%. Which of course feels very good as the demand for our house kits is huge, says Mikael Lindberg, CEO Jörnträhus.
The new production line will require 10-12 additional people for the production in Jörn, which means that Jörnträhus is now looking for more employees, again.
- With this, we will have about 38 people working with the production in Jörn and have filled up all the hot areas that we have available. The next step to increase capacity is to go up to two shifts. If and when it becomes relevant, we will need to become even more, Mikael concludes.
