Mikael Lindberg new CEO at Jörnträhus

It is now clear that Mikael Lindberg will be the new CEO of Jörnträhus. He will take office on 1 February 2020 and comes most recently from a position as Scandinavian sales manager at Stora Enso.

- It feels like I'm coming to Jörnträhus in a really interesting situation. I strongly believe in the company's concept for industrial construction and there is every opportunity to continue to pick market shares, says Mikael Lindberg.

Mikael Lindberg has built up an impressive track record over the years. In addition to his position as sales manager at Stora Enso, he was, among other things, CEO of Martinsons Byggsystem for seven years. Fredrik Andersson, CEO of Contractor, which includes Jörnträhus, believes that Mikael Lindberg's experience from his time at Martinsons was of great importance for the recruitment.

- Mikael has exactly the background we want in a CEO at Jörnträhus. He has merits from both the manufacturing industry and the wood industry, with a well-established contact network and extensive knowledge of industrial construction. In addition, he has a strong sales focus and is extremely good in the human meeting, which of course are important qualities in the role of CEO, says Fredrik Andersson.

I have not come here to manage

Mikael himself believes that Jörnträhus is in a good position to continue to develop and grow, both in the northern market and in other parts of Sweden.

- As I see it, Jörnträhus has embarked on an exciting journey, where there is much to suggest continued growth. And I am thinking not least of housing, where the company's concept for industrial construction has enormous potential. It is also positive to be part of a large and well-established group, where Contractor's various companies cover the entire chain from land and civil engineering to production and construction. But I am prepared for hard work. I haven't come here to manage, but to drive and move the company forward," says Mikael Lindberg.
